About The Designer

Hi there! My name is Tanya and I am the person behind Mayari Jewelry project.

Since I was a little girl I have loved to create things with my own hands and looked for different ways to express myself (including creating jewelry out of beads, ceramics, wood and textile). I have always given myself completely and put a part of me in the process, which made my jewelry unique and inimitable.

Years later I finished my studies, got a degree in architecture, worked in the fields of construction and interior design. But as an artistic person I felt that I wasn’t living up to my creative potential, that I didn’t have the ability to express my true gifts.

“𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠”

One beautiful day, after moving to Spain, I decided to quit architecture. And to be honest I never really thought that I would become a jeweler. For me jewelry making was something from another world… something between alchemy and magic.

But sometimes you should just trust your gut and follow your heart. So I found a jewelry school in Barcelona and enrolled in a course.
And just like that I got into silversmithing.

After several years of exploring different jewelry styles, constantly learning new techniques and improving my jewelry skills I decided to bring my artistic vision to life.

And I have been having a blast ever since!

Ancient symbols for modern people

A bit later my passion for the ancient cultures, symbols, anthropology and silver jewelry started to take shape and scale into an actual brand.

All of my jewelry is handmade and behind each of them is a story that continues through the style of it’s new owner. This way the creative process never ends.
I am absolutely blessed to have the opportunity to make special jewelry that can become a part of your unique look for years to come.

With the help of Mayari Jewelry I am building a bridge between the past and the present for those who appreciate exceptional pieces and enjoy wearing antique-inspired jewelry with a modern twist.
