Barong

This silver necklace is an homage to the traditional Barong sword of the Southern Philippines (late 19th–early 20th century). Recognized for its wide, leaf-shaped blade and sharp gleam, the Barong was both a weapon of strength and a symbol of prestige. Traditionally carried by warriors, it represented honor, defense, and cultural identity.

I recreated its iconic silhouette in silver as a tribute to courage and history, reflecting the sword’s bold, decisive form and the deep heritage it carries.
